Importing Timesheets (NG Teco)

If you're transitioning from the NG Teco time clock system, or need to import historical time data, use the Timesheets import page.

When to Import

  • During transition from NG Teco — Import CSV exports to bring historical hours into Branimi

  • If the kiosk was down — Import any time data that was tracked in NG Teco during an outage

  • One-time historical data load — Bring in all past student hours at setup

Note: Once all students are using the Branimi kiosk for daily clock-in/out, you won't need to import timesheets anymore. The kiosk records hours automatically.

How to Import

  1. Click Timesheets in the sidebar (under Administration)

  2. Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file

  3. Branimi processes the file and shows a summary:

    • How many entries were imported

    • How many were new vs. duplicates (duplicates are skipped automatically)

    • Any errors or unmatched records

  4. Review the results

Import History

Below the upload area, you'll see a table of past imports showing:

  • When each import ran

  • Status (Completed, Failed)

  • Number of entries imported

This helps you track what's been imported and when.

Important Notes

  • Duplicate protection — If you import the same CSV twice, Branimi detects duplicate entries and skips them. You won't get double-counted hours.

  • The CSV format must match NG Teco's export format — Don't modify the CSV before uploading.

  • Imported entries show "Imported" as their source — This helps you distinguish kiosk punches from imported data throughout the system.
